Schroders RF provides a range of registered first mortgage loans that are secured over residential, commercial, retail or industrial real estate assets and construction projects located in the metropolitan areas of Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane and major regional centres with a population over 50,000.

The mortgage loans are made to many different borrowers for a variety of business and investment purposes.

Schroders RF offers

 

Currently, Schroders RF has 6 types of loans available;

  • Investment Loans
  • Construction Loans
  • Residual Stock Loans
  • Development Site Loans
  • Asset Repositioning Loans
  • Residentially Secured Loans

Loans are available to a maximum loan to value ratio (LVR) of 65% for terms of 6 to 36 months, with the term matched to the project to be funded. Generally loan sizes range from $250,000 to $30,000,000.

All security properties are subject to valuation by a panel appointed valuer, acceptable legal documentation and construction loans also have cost, timing and drawdowns verified by a panel appointed Quantity Surveyor (QS).

The decision to approve a loan for offering to Borrowers is undertaken by Schroders RF and reviewed by its Credit Committee in accordance with its lending policy.
